Within the central Marketing Team we are looking for an experienced Category Strategy Lead, who will report into the Chief Marketing Officer. This role is new within Faceland and therefore you have the opportunity to shape its direction. Your goal is to help us grow even faster and delight more customers, by providing strategic category analyses and making sharp and concrete recommendations on the topics of treatment portfolio, net revenue management, customer lifetime value and competition. 

You will work together with a strong and motivated marketing team and have the freedom to select agencies or freelancers for support. Faceland is evolving fast and we are looking for people who can be both strategic and hands-on, who get energy from building and discovering new opportunities.

What's in it for you?
  • A gross yearly salary between €69.300,- and €90.100,- depending on experience, including holiday allowance;
  • A net travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer for commuting expenses;
  • A position for 32-40 hours per week;
  • 30 vacation days based on a full-time employment contract;
  • The employer contributes 5% to the pension provision; this means you receive 5% on top of your gross salary;

Must-haves
  • University Master degree or equivalent;
  • 6+ years experience in category management in a business-to-consumer setting;
  • (Online) retail experience is a plus;
  • Able to be both strategic and hands-on;
  • Excellent analytics;
  • Capable to discover new opportunities and provide solid argumentation;
  • Energized by a fast growing and dynamic environment;
  • Fluent in English is mandatory. Dutch, German or Italian are a plus.
